I always enjoy hearing the Lavazza Chamber Ensemble perform. They are masterful musicians who play together beautifully. I am constantly captivated by their choice of music.
A delightful evening. Brilliant interpretation of the repertoire with sparkling performances by all!
What a wonderful performance of the Lavazza Chamber Ensemble the other night! You were simply top-notch, both technically and artistically. You brought a very high level of virtuosity to a broad range of styles. There was a distinct "buzz" in the audience about the music you created. People were so very moved by your interpretation and the emotion in the music. I hope the word spreads about Lavazza and the high level of chamber music performance you are offering New England. I look forward eagerly to your next concert. Bravo!
I try to attend every performance of this wonderful ensemble. The musical talent and creative programs are and irresistible draw!

Lavazza is a world class ensemble. Their concerts are inspiring.
The Lavazza Chamber Ensemble is sure to enchant you. I have heard them perform a wide range of pieces on several occasions from music by Brahms, Beethoven, and Barber to more whimsical pieces by Janacek and Ravel. In all that they play, they bring technical precision and a great depth of musical knowledge and feeling. The cellist, Jan Pfeiffer, plays with great energy and emotion, evoking a beautiful quality and range of sound that will thrill you. The pianist, Stephen Yenger, is able to draw a broad spectrum of colors from the piano and is so clearly joyful in his playing that you will be infected by it. I look forward to hearing the Ensemble again.
The Lavazza Chamber Ensemble plays with passionate intensity that effectively communicates the excitement of the music to the listeners. The musicianship of the members shows in the way they vary the style to suit the character of the piece they are performing. They are exciting and appealing performers who are able to communicate their passion for the music to their audience.
The Lavazza Chamber Ensemble gave an electric performance of the Shostakovich Trio in e minor that plumbed the wrenching depths of this powerful response to early reports of the Holocaust. As the final notes echoed in the hall the audience remained spellbound, moved by the beauty and sadness of the music.
Another sparkling performance of the Lavazza Chamber Ensemble was heard at the Weston Public Library on March 5, 2002. The Shostakovich Trio in e minor, Op.67 is immensely difficult but was performed with seamless precision of tone and ensemble. Also heard was the Dumky-Trio, Op.90, more familiar, played with much feeling and energy for the individual movements and a real joy to hear.
Virtuosos! Second to none!
I always love to hear your concerts. You play so beautifully and expressively. Lavazza's interpretations of classical as well as contemporary music show sensitivity and originality.
I look forward to more wonderful concerts!
